He started as the comptroller here and brings a lengthy career as a resource to help nurture Jamaica Cottage Shop into a multi-generational presence in Southern Vermont.

A native Nebraskan, Wallace now resides in Londonderry with his wife of 39 years Cathy after several years in the Boston, MA area. They have two sons, a daughter in law and our first granddaughter who take up a large part of their lives. Living in Vermont comes full circle for both as Cathy also grew up in rural upstate New York.

CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Katrina decided to plant her roots in Southern Vermont after a visit in 2007. She is the Chief Administrative Officer at Jamaica Cottage Shop, Inc. She began her career here in March 2008. Katrina has learned most aspects of the office operations along the way. Troubleshooting and resourcefulness are two strengths that she utilizes every day. Her historical perspective allows her a better understanding of how to plan moving forward. Her duties now include reviewing, revising, and implementing processes and policies, overseeing the Sales Department, Service Department, and Human Resources, overall daily office operations and some IT.

She completed her Associates in Business degree through the Community College of VT while working, and continues to educate herself through training programs, seminars and webinars. Katrina is an enthusiastic member of the local community and enjoys hiking with her dogs, swimming, fishing, attending local gatherings, and long drives to travel and explore while keeping her roots where she’s planted them. She also works as a silversmith creating one of a kind jewelry for her business Katanguage.
Paula

DIRECTOR OF SALES & SERVICE

Not long after moving to Southern Vermont in 2014, Paula was introduced to Jamaica Cottage Shop and fell in love with the details and craftsmanship of the products. After years working in the Ski and Fitness/Wellness industries, Paula was looking for a new adventure and challenge and JCS provided that opportunity. As Director of Sales and Service, Paula works closely with the sales and service team to create exceptional experiences for JCS customers. She loves to learn and understand customer needs to find the right building to fit their lifestyle. Growing up with a dad who is a post and beam carpenter, she has loved returning to her roots and encouraging customers to joy and beauty of this style of construction too. In her spare time Paula loves to be outside; hiking, skiing, kayaking, and exploring with her two daughters and dogs. She maintains a lifestyle steeped in fitness and wellness as owner and teacher at a local community yoga studio.
