We get it. When buying a post and beam building project, there can be a lot of up-front costs. This investment is going to improve your life, but you need to figure out how to pay for it. We have solutions that can get you on the path of building today. 

Jamaica Cottage Shop, Inc. happily accepts multiple forms of payment. We understand that sometimes it is easier to spread out a big purchase over a few financial channels, so we try to make buying your new cottage a little easier by giving you many options.


Credit Card: We accept Master Card, American Express, Discover Card and Visa. We can accept credit card payment online, over the phone, or in person

Bank: We can also accept cash, Personal Check, ACH transfers, Wire transfers

Digital: Payments can be made by Paypal

Financing: We offer in-house financing solutions and easy financing with some of our preferred partners

Lock In The Sale Price

Our pricing is likely to change at the end of each sale. If you want to lock in a sale price, we can do that with a Good Faith Deposit.

This small, non-refundable fee extends the current sale price for one extra week past the expiration date.

Knowing your spending plan is half the battle. There are many creative ways you can achieve your dream without going deep into debt. Scale back your project and build in smaller chunks so you can save and pay as you go.

 

If you are building your permanent tiny home you can start with a three-season kit, and get the rest of your insulation, interior sheathing, and insulated windows and doors locally. Thrifty folks who love scanning building reuse stores, and barn sales for deals can potentially save on siding, windows, and doors. With a frame-only kit the tricky part of the build is pre-cut and will cost you a lot less up front.

If you check out and complete a sale, there will be a hard inquiry on your report, just like any other credit application. You will be prompted to review your payment terms before you check-out, so please be sure to check out only once you have agreed to the financing terms. The number of inquiries is one of the factors that credit bureaus consider in determining credit scores.You can check your rate and terms at any time without impact to your credit score. If you qualify, you will be given payment terms and will be able to see how much the purchase will cost you in monthly payments.

Rto national - RENT TO OWN

How Rent-To-Own Works

 

With a rent-to-own, your agreement is a monthly lease contract, so there is no reporting to credit agencies. Once you have applied you will find out quickly if you are approved. Your building becomes your property once your RTO financing agreement is paid in full.

Easy Application, No Credit Check

 

For RTO financing, we need a copy of your identification card (drivers license, state ID or passport) and an application.  Learn more.

 

Once you apply we may be required to supply additional paperwork. If so, you will be contacted by email.

Many Payment Methods Accepted

 

RTO National accepts credit card payment over the phone or through their Customer Payment Portal. You may also make payments using money orders, auto draft, or mailed in checks. 

Pay Over Time

 

Make monthly payments on your fully assembled building. Once it is paid in full you own it. If you decide that you no longer want the building, or are unable to make payments, RTO National can make arrangements to schedule a pick up for your building. 

Protect Your Building

 

Purchase an optional liablity damage waiver (LDW) to cover the rest of your lease if your building is damaged, destroyed or stolen.
