Our selection of Scratch-n-Det inventory buildings, that are ten-feet wide, include a selection of storage sheds, barns, small cottages and sugar shacks. If you would like to come visit these buildings in person you are welcome to visit our factory. Usually our inventory buildings in this size range include our very popular Economy Vermonter and New Yorker sheds. These basic utility sheds are constructed with our same sturdy hemlock frame. We use Galvalume Corrugated Metal Roofing (29 gauge, 20 year finish) and economy grade siding. This allows us to provide our customers with a budget friendly storage solution for their tools, landscaping equipment, and gardening supplies. Some clients will modify their economy buildings after delivery by adding siding on top of the pine board to match their homes, by adding windows, or painting or staining the building to blend into their landscape. The Vermonter is a short and sturdy build that is the most affordable option. For a little bit more the New Yorker is built two feet taller and provides the opportunity to add vertical storage such as shelving, peg racks, hooks and storage lofts. Sometimes we will build a variety of premium sheds. These designs include a painted roof, battens, and many come with windows. It isn’t uncommon to find a Gable, Saltbox, Tool Shed, Cross Gable, Shed Roof, Sugar Shack, Dollhouse, or Florida Room on display.
If you are looking for affordable living solutions there is a good chance we will have an insulated or turn key ten-foot wide building, or a simple uninsulated or three season summer cabin in stock. Right now we have the Queen Cottage, a simple 10×14 fully assembled build that includes an off-grid toilet solution. The 10×16 Pond-House Sugar Shack was cleverly designed to fit all of your turn key amenities into a tiny space with a kitchenette, futon, cabinetry, and a small bathroom. It also includes a heat pump for warmth and air conditioning. If you want to rough it out in the wilderness the Camp Alcove is a lean to shelter with a built in bench. You can enjoy a night under the stars while being protected from the elements.
All Scratch-n-Dent inventory buildings are first come, first served, sold as is, and are ready to be shipped right away. They meet our high standard of structural quality. Most of these items are not scratched or dented, but may have minor wear since they are used as display models while they wait to be chose for their new homes. Some of these designs may be built from economy materials so that you may enjoy additional savings. In some cases there may be some minor cosmetic blemishes, but these do not affect the structural integrity of the building. Scratch-n-Dent buildings are all eligible for financing so you can buy now.
