If your budget fits within $10,000 and $25,000 you should be able to get a spacious storage shed, barn or small garage. We also tend to have some four season or turn key tiny houses in stock that fit within this budget. Our Scratch-n-Dent items are sold in limited quantities, are first come first served and sold as is. Most of these buildings were built with the purpose of having a display model that our visitors could walk inside. We also offer these buildings as a convenience for our customers who need something shipped as soon as possible. Most of these designs won’t have any defects. Customers are welcome to email us with a request for additional photos of the interiors and exteriors of any stock number they are interested in.
Here are some designs that have been offered recently, or in the past, that have been listed in this price range. It isn’t uncommon to find storage sheds that range from 240 square feet up to 420 square feet in this price range. The 12×20 Tool Shed and 12×20 Three Sled Shed are some recent examples. The Tool Shed is one of our premium designs that includes board and batten pine siding, a painted corrugated metal roof in Evergreen, two barn sash windows, a double door with pressure treated ramp and CDX plywood floor decking. The roof was designed with a hip style if you are looking for something different. The Three Sled Shed is a saltbox design with three sliding barn doors installed on the front along with an extra wide ramp for easy access. It is the perfect building for storing ATV’s, snowmobiles, small tractors and lawn mowers along with all of your landscaping equipment.
Sugar Shacks are a New England staple with our very important maple syrup industry. The 12×20 Sugar Shack contains 240 square feet of interior space. These are generally built on a pressure treated sill plate so your evaporator can sit directly on your concrete slab. A vented cupola allows steam to escape the building quickly.
Our fourteen foot wide Barns and Barn Garages often make appearances on our Scratch-n-Dent list. The Barn comes with a set of double solid pine doors with a ramp. The Barn Garage has an overhead garage door with a single side entry. If you need to maximize your storage space, but need something fully assembled, these will be the biggest you can purchase.
From time to time we may include some pre-cut kits. Recently we offered a four season 12×16 Harvester kit. This pre-cut kit included everything needed to build a fully assembled cottage. This design maximizes the interior square footage since it does not include a built in porch as part of the floor plan. A storage or sleeping loft with a ladder is included in this design for additional interior space.
